防爆型軸流風機廣泛應用于工廠、倉庫、住宅內通風換氣或強暖氣散熱，也可有較長的排氣管道內間隔串聯安裝，以提高管道中的壓力，卸下電機可做自由風扇。

防爆型軸流風機選擇應注意的六點

1、在軸流風機選擇性能圖表上查得有二種以上的軸流暢風機可供選擇時，應優先選擇服從較高、機號較小：調治范疇較大的一種，固然還應加以比力，衡量利弊而決定。

2、在選擇軸流風機前，應相識國內軸流暢風機的生產和產物質量環境，如生產的軸流暢風機品種、規格和產物的特別用途，新產物的生長和推廣環境等，還應充實思量環保的要求，以便擇優選用風機。

3、在選擇軸流風機時，應只管克制采取軸流暢風機并聯或串聯事變。當不可克制時，應選擇同型號、同性能的軸流暢風機連合事變。當采取串聯時，*級軸流暢風機到第二級軸流暢風機之間應有肯定的管路聯結。

4、對有消聲要求的透風體系，應起選擇服從高、葉輪圓周速率低的軸流暢風機，且使其在高服從點事變;還應根據透風體系產生的噪聲和振動的傳播方法，采取相應的消聲和減振步伐。軸流暢風機和電動機的減振步伐，一樣平常可采取減振底子，如彈簧減振器或橡膠減振器等。

5、選擇離心式軸流暢風機時，當其配用的電機功率小于或便是75KW時，可不裝設僅為啟動用的閥門。當排送高溫煙氣或氛圍而選擇離心鍋爐引風機時，應設啟動用的閥門，以防冷態運轉時造成過載。

6、根據軸流風機運送氣體的物理、化學性子的差別，選擇差別用途的軸流暢風機。如運送有爆炸氣體的應選防爆軸流暢風機;排塵或運送煤粉的應選擇排塵或煤粉軸流暢風機;運送有腐化性氣體的應選擇防腐軸流暢風機;在高溫場合下事變或運送高溫氣體的應選擇高溫軸流暢風機等。
